UK Land Transport: The Polish border crossing was closed from September 12th to 25th, resuming operations on September 25th. ①Truck: Due to a large backlog of trains during the border closure, queues are currently impacting arrival times by approximately 4-6 days. Furthermore, after the border reopened, a large number of containers arrived at the terminal, resulting in a shortage of vehicles for container pickup in Poland. This is expected to impact approximately 1-3 days. ②Cargo: Due to the Polish border closure, all entry points into Europe will experience an increase in vehicles, requiring queues. This is expected to impact 5-10 days. This queue will also impact return container journeys, reducing capacity and increasing costs.
